What happens when you take an animal out of its natural habitat? Some things observed in nature as they may either over populate and invade other species, which are natural to that habitat, or they may not be able to thrive. Most importantly, over time removing animals from their natural habitat throws them and the environment out of balance.
Us humans are experiencing exactly this. We have left our natural habitat of nature to occupy the habitat made of concrete and steel. The result of the experiment is as expected. Scarcity, aggression, over population, misery and disharmony. Moreover, we are made to believe that our lives can only be fulfilling if we stick around in the urban jungle and give it our life’s work to turn its wheels.
Now we are all starting to realize that the system is completely corrupt, unable to function on its own. It only makes the people who created it richer and drains the resources out from those who work to keep it running.
With a failing system we are protesting, “occupying wall street”. We are asking for our share of this unjust, broken, corrupt system. Do we really expect this system to bring us the love and harmony we are truly seeking? If it has never worked why will it work now. The most it will do is provide a quick fix so that the ones that power the system can go back to powering it.
Trying to fix your unnatural habitat is a task that us humans do not have the ability to fulfill. The reason – we can change the laws of nature. We cant make concrete jungles behave like nature.
We belong to a much larger system- Nature. We are in absolute harmony with nature. Anytime we go into nature we feel our natural states of bliss and harmony return to us. Even if it’s a short lived vacation. But we have abandoned nature to occupy large concrete cities and towns.
We now have an opportunity. The system is failing; we are occupying Wall Street to redeem what’s ours. When in fact the entire system is powered by you. If we leave all that will be left will be concrete buildings.
And we will find that nature is abundant… the scarcity and the lack we have become brainwashed to assume as true, needs to be re-examined.
Start by spending more time in nature. Does it start to FEEL good?
Slowly, retreat your resources (time and energy) from “trying to make it” within the system.
Use your incredible abilities to conjure up innovative approaches for sustainability etc.
Make your desire to find a community based on love and genuine sharing known. Magnetize it.
Think about it.. with the failing system – those than make it our FIRST and start re-building will be able to set up a stronger foundation and even help those who follow J
